Day 10 - Favourite Classic
As an adult I have not read many classics.  This is due to the fact that as a busy mum I really need light reads that I can read with noise around me, or one that I can pick up the thread of the story quite easily.

A favourite classic from my childhood would be The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.  This was in the days before it was fashionable for books to go to the big screen.  I still have memories of how I saw the characters and scenes in this delightful novel.

The one adult classic I do remember quite well is Far From the Madding Crowd - Thomas Hardy.  I studied it for GCE English Lit at school.

Day 11 - A book you hated.

If I am reading a book and I dislike it, I will give up on it by page 50 or 100 at the most.
The book I would say I disliked rather than hated was
The Children's Book by A S Byatt  and the reason for disliking it was that I so wanted to love this book but I just could not get on with so many characters on each page.
