Festive Fun Author Avent - Day 21 - Janice Horton is trying to aviod a riot on Christmas Day

What is your favourite Christmas Carol/festive song?

I feel all Christmassy when I hear the old classics playing and my favourite festive song is The Christmas Song as crooned by Nat King Cole. It’s the one that goes ‘Chestnuts roasting on an open fire… Jack Frost nipping at your nose….’

What is your favourite festive film/book or both?

Oh that’s not fair – there are so many! Okay, if I have to choose, then it would have to be The Muppets Christmas Carol.

Tree – Real or Artificial? Why?

Real. I love the fresh pine scent. Choosing the tree heralds the start of Christmas for me. I get the biggest one I can find and then usually have to lop off the top and hacksaw the trunk to get it into the sitting room!

Bucks Fizz or Mulled Wine or other?

Champagne please!

Christmas dinner – Turkey or Beef or other?

Turkey everytime. There would be a riot in our house if I dared suggest anything else to my husband and three sons on The Big Day.
