  • The blurb (from Amazon)
The first in a brand new series introduces Kiki Carlow, a woman on a mission to create her perfect wedding.

Kiki Carlow is shocked but delighted when boyfriend Thom proposes. Planning a wedding is easy, right? That’s as long as you ignore:
1. The utterly bankrupting price of the only dress you’ll ever truly love.
2. Your suddenly pregnant sister – surprise!
3. The celebrity wedding you’re covering for work which is devouring your every waking thought.
4. The Mother of the Bride. Entirely.

Kiki soon discovers that planning the perfect wedding might just bring total chaos to the rest of her life. Can she stop being a Bridezilla in time to marry the man she loves?
Heart-warming and hilarious, The Wedding Diaries will make you laugh, cry, and want to watch Bridesmaids all over again…

A very funny and entertaining debut novel from Sam Binnie, not to be missed.

Kiki is planning her wedding and shares every last detail in her diary.  From choosing The Dress, the honeymoon, favours, hen night, it is all there.  Also included is the background story of her relationship with Thom and how it suffers during the run up to the wedding and how she is helping to produce a Celebrity wedding book through her work.

I laughed my way through this funny and candid account of how planning a wedding can turn a bride into bridezilla no matter how much she protests she isn't the least bit stressed or controlling.
I have to admit I saw a few moments there that had I could identify with but will keep them to myself.

Friendly warning,  if you are only weeks away from your own wedding, just wait until after your big day to read! LOL

I am looking  forward to the baby diaries next up from this author.

Review copy from Avon, in exchange for my honest review.
